Dear Parents/Caregivers

REMINDER: PARENT TEACHER MEETING

Parent teacher meeting for years 1 – 13 is on Thursday 23 March, 2017 from 8.00am – 5.30pm.  It will be a whole day programme.  Therefore, the students need to stay home and only come to school at the appointment time with their parents and go back straight after the meeting.

 Book your appointments now if you have not done it yet as the booking will be closing tomorrow at 4.00pm. Booking can be done via website: www.schoolinterviews.co.nz//code Enter the event code: jv6et. Then follow the instructions on the screen. 

Parents/caregivers who do not have internet at home, are most welcome to contact the class teachers or the school office to book appointments.

 REMINDER:  GALA DAY

Gala day is on 8th April from 9.00am to 3.00pm.  Please contact the school office if you need to hire stall which is available at $50.00. Parent’s stall will be placed in the new ground. Food stalls will be run by the school staff. One of the staff will be selling second hand items.  If you have any new or near new household items that you wish to donate, you may send it with your child/children to the class teacher or to Ustadah Gulshad Khan.

LITERACY AND NUMERACY

We will be having open morning for parents of years 1 to 6 classes to observe in action their child/children’s numeracy and literacy programme on 30th March from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

YEAR 3 and 4 CAMP

Sleepover camp at Kelly Tarltons.  Rooms AU8 & AD3 are going on 5th April and AU9 & AU7 on 6th April.  Jazaakallahu Khairan to the parents/caregivers for their support to fundraise for the camp.

TELEPHONE SERVICES

The new telephone services has been installed which is now up and running.  We hope, In Shaa Allah there will be no further issues.
