Welcome back to all the staff and students.
SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION
The school will be celebrating 25 year jubilee celebration on 17 August, 2017. More details to follow.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Parent/teacher meeting is on Monday 21st August, 2017. The website will be updated and activated by end of this week for parents to do the booking.
PRIMARY SCHOOL CAMP
Years 5 and 6 students are going to Sir Peter Blake Camp, Long Bay, Auckland. Year 6 will be going from 2nd to 4th August and year 5 will be going from 9th to 11th August. Detailed information has been given to the parents by the class teachers.
LIFE EDUCATION TRUST
The Life Education Caravan will be in school next week from 31st July to 4th August. This program is for year’s 1 – 4 students and is free of cost.
FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAMME
This programme is for years 1 – 8 students. It will be done by ASB Bank from 22nd to 24th August.
CROSS COUNTRY & SOCCER TRAINING
Training starts next week.
SPEECH COMPETITION
Speech competition for years 5 and 6 students has started. Parents please help your child/children to practice for the competition.
MEDICATION FOR STUDENTS
The parents are requested to send instructions to the main office if their child/children need to take medication in school. All medication will be kept in the main office with the instructions.
UNIFORM SELLING HOURS
Please note that uniform is only sold from Monday – Thursday between 3.30pm – 4.15pm.
REMINDER: CAREERS NEWS
- The University of Auckland scholarships are now open. Closing date for the scholarships are on 23rd of August 2017.
- The University of Auckland courses and careers open day for public is on Saturday 2 September.
- Competenz – various apprenticeships – get in touch- 0800 526 1800.
- AUT application for 2018 is now open. See careers teachers for more information.
