AL-MADINAH BOYS PRODUCTION
Al Madinah School boys’ production, Emperor Mustafa, will be on 1st August at Mangere Arts Centre from 6.30-9.30pm. This is a men’s only event. The production is an adaptation of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. Tickets will be on sale at the school.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Parent teacher meeting for years 1 – 13 students is on Tuesday 06th August, 2019 from 8.00am – 5.00pm. It will be a whole day programme. Therefore, the students need to stay home and only come to school at the appointment time with their parents and go back with them. Booking is now open and can be done via website: www.schoolinterviews.co.nz//code Enter the event code: q5uey Then follow the instructions on the screen. Please be informed that the booking will be closed on 05/06/2019. Parents/caregivers who do not have internet at home, are most welcome to contact the class teachers or the school office to book appointments.
CYBER SAFETY

FURNITURE FOR SALE
The school may have some excess furniture including student desk and chairs. If anyone is interested to buy them at a very reasonable price, please contact the school office.

END OF YEAR EXAMINATON
End of year practice examination will be in week 9 and 10 of this term.
NCEA FEES
There will be no NCEA fees this year for domestic students. Only international students need to pay the NCEA fees.
EID-UL-ADHA
Eid-ul-adha will be celebrated on Monday 12 August, 2019. School will be closed on Eid-ul-adha day.
MATHS ROAD SHOW
Maths Road Show for years 1–3 is on Monday 26 August and for years 4-6 on Wednesday 28 August, 2019.
PRIMARY PERFORMANCE EVENING
Years 1 – 3 on Tuesday 24 September, 2019
Years 4 – 6 on Thursday 26 September, 2019
This is a female only event. Tickets will be sold at the school. Priority will be given to mums as there will be limited tickets available.
