Examination Centre Manager & Supervisors
Al-Madinah School is seeking an Examination Centre Manager to run the NCEA and NZ Scholarship examinations in 2020.
The smooth and successful running of an exam centre is important for all students participating in these examinations.
The position requires you to complete an online training programme and attend a one-day training session with NZQA in August. There will be an additional training day in September for managing digital exams. The position requires you to complete a number of administrative tasks to plan and prepare for the exams. You must be available to work for the entire exam period (Friday 16 November to Wednesday 9 December).
A high level of organisational skills with great attention to detail, strength in following processes precisely, confidence leading people of all ages and proficiency in using a computer are essential qualities for this role.
We also require supervisors who will be working under the guidance of the exam centre manager in supervising the students during the NCEA external examinations.

MONITORING USE OF DEVICES WITH FAMILY ZONE
We have noticed that some students, particularly, during the lockdown period have managed to visit and got acquainted with a number of undesirable social media sites. Hence, we want to alert you all to be vigilant at home by ensuring your child(ren) do not use devices behind closed doors. For safety of all, we strongly recommend that you keep a time limit for the use of devices and keep them locked away during night.
Therefore, as part of our ongoing commitment to excellence and our duty to ensure students’ safety and well-being, we’re proud to announce that we will soon be introducing cyber safety programs and technologies in partnership with Family Zone.
