ROAD SAFETY – COMPLAINT RECEIVED
“Every time I come past your school, especially during after school hours, which I dread, your parents are parked on yellow lines, double parked and expecting other road users to go around them forcing cars to cross over to the other side of the road, I have even seen your parents’ cars parked at the crossing area and on the broken yellow lines waiting for children.
But what is starting to concern me is how drivers just pull out in front of people. This happens to me on a regular basis and of recent at least 3 times one after the other as I make my way home and frankly it is getting frustrating.”
Parents/caregivers are requested to adhere to proper parking/driving practices. Otherwise, the school will have no choice but to involve NZ Police.
EARLY PICK-UP ON FRIDAYS

As for the parking, as a parent, it is very hard to find parking so we come late to pick up our kids but we still find it difficult to park our cars as there is no space and the school should do something for the parking as it’s for the safety of our kids and us as parents.
