University of Otago Auckland Information Evening 2023
Auckland Information Evening is held tonight (Tuesday 20 June, at 6.00pm) at Ellerslie Event Centre, and the students and their whānau are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity for them to hear all about Otago, including accommodation, scholarships, and study options.

Excursion to Rotorua: Exploring Tourism Development
The Year 13B Geography students have gone to Rotorua today, June 20th to June 22nd. This trip relates to their Geography assignments and offers a chance to explore how tourism has shaped the environment. They will visit attractions, learn about sustainability, and earn eight credits.

EID-UL-ADHA
The new moon for Dhul Hijjah 1444 was sighted yesterday (19-06-2023). Hence, the school will be closed on Thursday, 29th June 2023 to celebrate Eidul Adha. School will resume as normal on Friday.
ART AND DESIGN INFORMATION DAY
Students are invited to AUT Art and Design Information Day on Monday 10 July. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to hear about the programmes including:
- Bachelor of Visual Arts.
- Te Tohu Paetahi mō te Hoahoa – Bachelor of Design

Plagiarism and Authenticity
Please note that if a student uses ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to generate a response for assessments which they then subsequently pass as their own work, then this is a breach of authenticity and the student, following an investigation would receive a NOT Achieved grade, if the breach were proven.
PPTA STRIKE
Teachers who are PPTA members will be attending union meeting on Wednesday 28th June 2023 from 1.00pm – 3.00pm. School may close early. Decision to follow in next day or so. Keep an eye on the email from school.

All fees must be paid by or before end of this Term. The annual attendance dues for each child per year is $251.85.
