Dear Parents/Caregivers

Assalaamu Alaikum WRWB

ANNUAL GALA DAY

Gala Day is on Saturday 02 March 2024 from 9.00am to 3.00pm.  The stall cost is $100.00.   If you need to hire space for the stall, please contact the school office. If you are setting up a stall, you are required to bring your own tables.  Stalls will be set up in the AMS Hall.

Food will be sold by the school only. Parent/caregivers may donate food items including bhajias, cakes, cupcakes muffins, bread, liquid milk, sauce, and sweets. If you have toys and jewellery in good condition and would like to donate them, please send them with your child to the class teacher.

There will be lots of stalls:  hot chips and juice, tea & coffee, candy floss, popcorn, savouries, sweets, cakes, and plenty more.

You all are welcome to come, enjoy and support the school.       (Flyer Attached)

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE

Parent/teacher conference day is on Tuesday March 5, 2024, for students in years 1–13, starting from 8.00am – 5.00pm.  This will be a whole day programme.  The students are required to stay home and only come to school at their appointment time with their parents and returning home with them afterwards.

Parents/caregivers who do not have internet access at home, are most welcome to contact the class teachers or the school office to book appointments.

COMMUNITY SWIMMING

Swimming for students in years 3-6 at Mangere Pools continues every Tuesday. Please ensure that your child/children come prepared with the proper swimming togs.

HIFZ AND DARUL ULOOM CLASSES

Darul Uloom classes will begin soon.  Parents/caregivers who are interested in sending their child/children for hifz, please complete the form available in the school office.

VISITORS TO SCHOOL

All visitors and/or parents/caregivers must report to the main office.  No one is allowed to go straight to class or any part of the school premises.

MAYOR’S CUP INTERNATIONAL

Ayaan Hussain of year 11B has been selected by CM Maestro Football Academy to play soccer at Mayor’s Cup International Showcase in Las Vegas. The event took place from February 17 -19. This has been a valuable experience representing his team on an international platform making our community and school proud.

Sec. Boys’ athletics – Thursday 22nd February.

Sec. Girls athletics- Friday 23rd February.

ATTENDANCE DUES

The annual attendance dues per student is $251.85. The full years AD must be paid by the end of Term 2 of each year.  An invoice will be emailed by end of this week.

Preferred method of payment:  EFTPOS/ online.

FRIENDLY REMINDER: SMOOTH DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP

Parents/caregivers are encouraged to use the convenient school car park located next to the school for easy drop-off and pick-up. Kindly refrain from parking in front of the entry and exit gates. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
