NCEA INFORMATION EVENING
Jazaakallahu khairan to those who attended the NCEA Information evening on Thursday last week.
STAFF VACANCY
we have the following vacancies:
1. Scale A teacher to teach year 7/8 girls. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching students through use of ICT and teaching as inquiry. Capability and willingness to teach other year levels will be an advantage.
2. ICT Facilitator – we require a person on casual & part-time basis to work along with the current ICT service provider.
3. Teacher aides – part-time positions available in secondary school.

JEWELERY
Please note students are not allowed to wear jewellery to school. NOSE RING is part of the jewellery.
SOFT BALL
Soft ball continues for primary.
Stop chaos at the school gate
Never stop on yellow lines or double-park around the school. Parking like this can block the view of children and motorists.
Park safe and protect our children.
It is everyone’s responsibility to keep our kids safe Keep our children safe … and park safe.
Please play your part by:
- Always observe the parking restrictions.
- Always use the school patrol crossings to cross.
- Choosing safety over convenience at all times.
ENGLISH FOR BEGINERS
Free English classes with qualified tutors at Mangere Town Centre Library, Mangere Town Centre, Badar Drive from 11.20 – 1.20pm Tuesdays and Thursdays (during school terms). To enrol, contact English Language Partners Auckland South on 092789099
Secondary SCHOOL athletics
The secondary boys will be having athletics day on Thursday 23 February and Girls on Friday 24th February. All students must attend and fully participate in all the activities on the day. Students must bring their correct P.E uniform, suitable footwear, sunhat, water bottle and a healthy morning tea. Sausage sizzle will be provided for students on the day. Insha’Allah this will be a great opportunity for our students to experience different types of sport. The event will be held at House Park from 8.30am – 3.00pm for boys and for girls from 8.30am – 2.00pm.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Parent teacher meeting is on 23 March, 2017. Please make a note of this date. Students will come with their parents and go back with them. We will have open morning for parents to observe numeracy or Literacy guided programme in their child/children’s class on 30 March from 9.00am – 12.00 noon.
GALA DAY
Gala Day is on 8th April. Please contact the school office if you need to keep a stall which will cost $50.00. Food items will only be sold by our school.
