Dear Parents/Caregivers

EID UL FITR

The new moon for Eid-ul-Fitr will be sighted on Sunday 25th June.  If the moon is sighted on Sunday, then Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday 26th June otherwise it will be on Tuesday 27th June.  The school will be closed on Eid-Day only.  Eid Mubarak, in advance, to all the parents/caregivers, staff and students.

 

ISLAMIC WEEK

Islamic Week program is normally held after Eidul Adhaa. This year it will be from 27th to 30th June 2017. School-wide programs will be taking place with common programs for the entire school. However, some separate programs will also be held for both primary and secondary sections of the school.

Programs will include qur’aan, quiz and azan competitions, nasheed, calligraphy and designing of 3 view model of mosques. Head boy will deliver the jumma khutbah and the week will end with school principal, Ustad Asin Ali, giving the final speech. Finally sweets will be distributed.

 

ART INTENSIVE WEEK

Week 10 from 3rd – 7th July, 2017 is art intensive week.

  1. University of Otago Information Evening is on Tuesday 20 June at 6.30pm at South Level 4 Lounge in Eden Park. Enter through Gate G from Reimers Ave. Parking available in P5. Enquiries: 0800 80 80 98
  2. The University of Auckland parents’ seminar on 27 June, 5 July and 6 July from 7pm at Owen G. Glenn Business School, 12 Grafton Road, Auckland.
  3. The University of Auckland scholarships are now open. Closing date for the scholarships are on 23rd of August 2017.
  4. The University of Auckland courses and careers open day for public is on Saturday 2 September 2017.

  6. AUT application for 2018 is now open. See careers teachers for more information.

Staff Vacancy

We have vacancy for a teacher aide for the secondary boys section of the school. We need someone who has strength in literacy and numeracy to support the teachers in teaching individual as well as groups of students. Duties will also include supporting school in other duties. REMINDER: SCHOOL FEES

Jazaakallahu Khairan to those parents/caregivers who have already paid their school fees in full.  The outstanding school fees should immediately be paid in full. However, arrangement for automatic payment can also be made for those parents/caregivers who are struggling to pay the full amount.
