DAYLIGHT SAVINGS
Daylight saving ends on Sunday 2nd April. Remember to change your clock 1 hour back.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Thank you to those parents/caregivers who attended the parent teacher meeting on Thursday. A large number of parents came for the interview.
SCHOOL FEES
The whole years fees is due by end of next term. Jazaakallahu Khairan to those parents/caregivers who have already paid their school fees in full. Those who have not please pay the full amount by end of next term.
REMINDER: GALA DAY
Gala day is on Saturday 8th April from 9.00am to 3.00pm. Please contact the school office if you need to put up a stall which is available at $50.00. Parent’s stall will be placed in the new ground. Parents are to bring their own tables, chairs and tents for their stall. Food stalls will be run by the school staff. One of the staff will be selling second hand items. If you have any new or near new household items that you wish to donate, you may send it with your child/children to the class teacher or to Ustadah Gulshad Khan.
REMINDER: LITERACY AND NUMERACY
We will be having open morning for parents of years 1 to 6 students in action in on Thursday 30th March from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
REMINDER: YEAR 3 and 4 CAMP
Sleepover camp at Kelly Tarltons. Rooms AU8 & AD3 are going on 5th April and AU9 & AU7 on 6th April. Jazaakallahu Khairan to the parents/caregivers for their support to fundraise for the camp.
CRICKET COMPETITION
The primary school cricket team won the Mangere Inter-School competition. Year 6 boys are now preparing to participate in Auckland School Cricket Competition.
INTER SCHOOL SWIMMING COMPETITON
Some students from years 4 – 6 are training at the Mangere pools at lunch time on Wednesdays. The competition is in Term 2. Jazaakallah to the parents for sending your children prepared for the training.
TERM BREAK
School finishes for Term 1 on Thursday 13th April, 2017 at 2.30pm.
School re-opens for Term 2 on Monday 1st May, 2017.
NATIONAL IJTIMA
National Ijtima starts on Friday 14th April, 2017 from Asar and finishes on Sunday 16th April after Fajar salat.
