PARENT/TEACHER MEETING

Parent teacher meeting for year’s 1 – 13 students will be held on Tuesday 28 July, 2020 from 8.00am – 5.00pm. It will be a whole day programme, therefore all students need to stay home and only come to school at the appointment time with their parents and go back with them. Booking is now open and can be done via website: www.schoolinterviews.co.nz//code Enter the event code: em5vh Then follow the instructions on the screen. Please be informed that the booking will be closed on 27/08/20 at 4.00pm. Parents/caregivers who do not have internet at home are most welcome to contact the class teachers or the school office to book appointments.

 BOYS CAMP

Senior boys, years 10 to 13 will be going for school camp at Lakewood Lodge in Huntly from 10th to 12th August, 2020 – 4th week of Term 3. Please be informed that a google classroom has been created for the Senior Camp 2020 Boys’ Year 10 to13. The code is as followers: bp7w7rr.  All information with regards to the camp is now accessible on Google Classroom. The final preparation is in process.  Two staff will be visiting the venue prior to the visit.

 SOCCER MATCH

Senior boys’ playing with Ormiston College tomorrow at House Park.  Junior team will be playing against Ormiston junior at Ormiston College.

LIFE EDUCATION TRUST

Life Education Trust will be visiting our school from 31 August to 11 September.  The cost is $5.00 for years 1 – 6 and $7.00 for Years 7-8. A huge thank you to Mangere-Otahuhu Local Board for awarding Life Education Trust Counties Manukau a generous grant that has enabled them to deliver their health and well-being programme to our students.

 NATIONAL MASHURAH

There will be a 24 hour mashurah at Airport Mosque from Zohar of Saturday 25 July, 2020 to Zohar of Sunday 26 July, 2020.  Male parents and their over 15 boys are requested to attend this National Mashurah.

EID-UL-ADHA

School will be closed on Eid-Ul-Adha day.  Date will be confirmed tomorrow after sighting of the moon tonight.

It is encouraged to fast during the first 9 days starting from tomorrow if the moon is sighted tonight.  If not then fasting should start on Thursday.

Those Muslims who have intended to do Qurbani are advised that any cutting of nails and hair should be done before maghrib today or before maghrib tomorrow if the moon not sighted today.
