GALA DAY

Gala Day has been postponed due unforeseen circumstances due to the fact that a major Muslim soccer tournament is being held on the same day. Gala day will now be held on Saturday 11 March 2023 from 9am – 3pm. Stall bookings will be accepted in 2023.

BALANCE BIKES PROGRAM

On Thursday 24th November, Years 1-2 will have Balance Bike Program with Counties Manukau Sports. To take part, students need to be in their PE uniform and sports shoes.

 SCIENCE SHOW

Primary is having a Science Road Show at the school on Friday, 25th November in the school Hall.

  • Years 1 – 3: 9.15am -10.15am & Years 4 – 6: 11.30am – 12.30pm.

 NCEA TEACHER ONLY DAY (TOD)

The school will be closed for all students from years 1-13 on Thursday 1st Dec 2022 for NCEA TOD.

 AWARD ASSEMBLY

Parents/caregivers please note that the award assembly for primary will now be on Tuesday 6 December 2022. Further information will be sent with the invitation.

Primary – Years 1-3: 10am-12noon & Years 4-6: 2pm-4pm.

Secondary – Years 7-13: from 9.30am on 08 December 2022.

Graduation dinner for Year 13 students only will be on 08 December 2022 -5.30pm-7.30 pm.

GRADUATION GOWNS

Year 13 graduating students are to hire the graduation gown from the school office. They need to pay a non-refundable fee of $15.00. Please return the gown immediately after the graduation or at least by the next day.

SPECIAL PROGRAM / BAYAN FOR FEMALES

The above program will be presented by Alimah Nadia Sadiq, a female scholar from Dubai and the founder of Nur ul Ilm Academy. She also specialises in conducting workshops on parenting, life-style management, and various womens’ issues. This program will be held on Mon 12 Dec 2022, at AMS Hall from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Light refreshments will be provided after the program.

FAVONA ISLAMIC CENTER PROJECT                                                                                        

AMS’ proprietor, IED Trust, is once again expanding its Favona Islamic Centre (FIC) Project by buying an adjacent property in order to establish an efficient and effective Islamic Hub which it also intends to use as an offsite facility for AMS students. Hence, IED is requesting the parents, caregivers, and the Muslim community at large to donate generously into a dedicated account for FIC 01-0249-0050273-09. Please put your name & Mobile number as reference to receive receipt.
