Final Day – 3rd of July 2024
Theme of the camp: Respect for the environment.
Assalamu alaikum wrb,
Today was the last day and the students had the opportunity to participate in the last three activities planned for the duration of the cam
Students have learnt the following skills and knowledge:
– to perservere
– to take care of their physical and mental wellbeing
– to take care of the land and the sea
– to sort out rubbish into compost, recycling and what goes in the landfill
-history of Sir Peter Blake (KBE)
-about appreciation of the Moana
-self respect
The activities helped them with building confidence, overcome fear, learn some important lifesaving skills, learn to support each other, gain new experiences, work as a team and make new friends.
The friendly and experienced instructors farewelled our group with a waiata and dua by our girls at 2.40pm for an hour drive back to school.
